Founded by TD Bank Group in the 1990, the TD Friends of the Environment Foundation (TD FEF) is a national charity that funds environmental
projects across Canada. TD Friends of the Environment Foundation has
worked to help protect the environment and green communities across Canada for over 30 years.
REQUIREMENTS FOR GRANT
Organizations that would be eligible to receive funding must be a/an:
Educational institutions of either primary, secondary or post-secondary.
Registered Canadian charities, having a Charitable Registration Number (CRN).
Indigenous groups/communities and Municipalities.
Projects eligible to receive funding:
Projects that would be considered for the TD Friends of the Environment Foundation grant, must primarily focus on environmental education and green space programs. It must also have a wide range of environmental initiatives upon consideration. Some eligible projects are:
Park revitalization.
Schoolyard greening.
Citizen science initiatives.
Community gardens, and many more.
Application submission deadline for Summer is July 15, 2022.
