On January 29, 2022, OHDI hosted University and College students interested in practical One Health learning, engagement, mentorship, and advocacy on a Webinar to commemorate the One Health Awareness Month 2022. The Webinar themed – “Promoting Students’ Action for One Health” – sensitized students in and outside Nigeria on the practical implementation and promotion of One Health – even while in their respective Universities and Colleges. We also discussed the potential of establishing and participating in One Health Clubs.
Finally, attendees also had the opportunity to engage with and learn from experienced and young One Health professionals in relevant sectors including Human Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Pharmacy, and Microbiology.
The event was hosted by OHDI’s Executive Director Dr. Kikiope Oluwarore and supported by moderators Dr. Idris Ola, Iyiola Oladunjoye, and Pharm. Chiamaka Jibuaku.
