Tackling AMR Through Campaigns
Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is a growing global health challenge and solving it takes more than laboratories and healthcare settings. Through the WASH Off AMR Campaign, the Stop Superbug Squad is bringing together young people, communities, and advocates to spotlight an important connection: water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) as a frontline defense against AMR.
Why WASH Matters
Safe water, improved sanitation, and good hygiene practices help prevent infections and slow down the spread of drug-resistant microorganisms. Through community engagement, advocacy, education, and creative communication, young people are taking an active role and turning that awareness into action.
