At One Health and Development Initiative (OHDI), we are excited to officially introduce RORE (Responsive One Health Resource Engine), a smart, multilingual digital platform designed to make reliable information, practical tools, and expert support accessible across human, animal, plant, and environmental sectors.
RORE was created to respond to a simple but persistent challenge which is that people need trusted, integrated support for health, agriculture, and the environment, but existing systems are often fragmented, hard to access, or unreliable.
RORE brings these services together into one easy-to-use platform.
Why RORE Was Built
Across many communities, especially in low- and middle-income settings, individuals, farmers, and professionals face gaps in access to timely health guidance, veterinary care, farm advisory services, and environmental support. Information is often scattered, services are disconnected, and expert help may be difficult to reach.
RORE was built to bridge these gaps using a One Health approach, recognizing that the health of people, animals, plants, and the environment are deeply interconnected. By combining digital technology, evidence-based guidance, and human-centered design, RORE enables users to get the support they need, when and where they need it.
What RORE Offers
RORE is a growing digital ecosystem designed to support everyday decisions, professional practice, and sustainable livelihoods.
1. Instant, Multilingual Q&A Support
Users can chat with RORE to ask questions related to personal health, animal care, crop management, or environmental concerns. The platform provides instant, personalized responses in clear, easy-to-understand language.
2. Personal Data Logging
RORE allows users to log and track information over time, including:
- Personal or household health observations
- Pet or animal health notes
- Monitor the health of your plant or small garden
- Environmental observations
These records help users stay organized and receive smarter feedback based on their entries.
3. Farm Record-Keeping for Farmers
For livestock, crop, and aquaculture farmers, RORE provides simple tools to record daily feeding, treatments, production data, and other farm activities. Regular use of these tools can also support eligibility for participation in responsible farming and market-access initiatives such as our AgrowSAFE platform.
4. Professional and Service Directories
RORE includes a growing directory of professionals and service centers, thereby making it easier for users to find doctors, veterinarians, agronomists, environmental health officers, and other service providers when they need support.
5. Professional Consultation Notes and Case Management
For professionals, RORE offers simple and efficient tools for consultation notes, transcription, and client or case management. These tools are designed to save time, improve organization, and support better service delivery.
6. WhatsApp Access
Recognizing that many users prefer familiar communication channels, RORE can be accessed directly via WhatsApp, bringing its tools and support closer to people’s daily lives.
