In partnership with Africa CDC, the Journal for Public Health in Africa is pleased to announce a Manuscript Writing Workshop for early-career researchers. This workshop, which will be held alongside the Conference for Public Health in Africa in Rabat, Morocco, from 21-25 November 2024, is an exceptional opportunity for researchers working on priority diseases in Africa to enhance their scientific writing skills.
Participants will receive intensive training on the structure of scientific papers, effective writing techniques, data presentation and analysis, and publication ethics. The workshop will be led by esteemed African researchers, offering participants valuable guidance, networking opportunities, and the potential for publication in the Journal for Public Health in Africa.
Researchers interested in applying should submit their CV and a cover letter detailing their areas of interest to communications@africacdc.org by 20 September 2024. Women and researchers from Central Africa are especially encouraged to apply. Selected participants will receive full sponsorship, including travel, accommodation, and workshop materials.
