In early September 2020, we put out a call for the OHDI One Health Photo Competition (Cycle 2) themed “Food Security and Livelihoods” The One Health Photo Competition is a bi-annual activity that aims to promote creative images and pictures with a One Health message, showcasing an interaction between human, animal, plants and/or environmental health. By the competition deadline of September 30, 2020, we had received a number of 46 photo entries from 11 countries.
After much deliberations, we finally selected our Top 10 photo entries which were showcased and presented for public voting on our Instagram platform (@onehealthdev). Subsequently, the the winner emerged to win the competition’s cash prize of $50.00 and a Certificate of Achievement. Other photographs which demonstrated outstanding creativity, were also awarded accordingly.
