Call for Proposals: Tackling Antimicrobial Resistance in the Environment

Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is a growing threat impacting human, animal, and environmental health. This call for proposals seeks innovative research projects addressing the development and spread of AMR in natural and built environments, aiming to reduce risks to human and animal health.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Impact of AMR in water, soil, air, and crops
  • Influence of human and livestock waste, pharmaceutical residues, and healthcare facility designs
  • Multi-disciplinary interventions across One Health sectors

Eligible proposals should demonstrate proof of concept, employ quantitative methodologies, and focus on high-risk environments like healthcare facilities and intensive farming systems. Interventions must be evidence-based or innovative, with a strong evaluation component.
