Position Overview:
Fortify Health seeks a Senior Quality Officer to ensure the highest quality and safety standards in wheat flour fortification processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and food safety standards, with excellent leadership and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee quality assurance processes and develop comprehensive quality control protocols.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to improve fortification operations.
- Ensure compliance with national and international food safety regulations.
- Train staff and stakeholders in quality assurance and control procedures.
- Perform and supervise quantitative iron testing in fortified wheat flour.
- Manage the quality team and coordinate with remote teams and external partners.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Technology, Milling Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in quality assurance and control, preferably in the food industry or public health sector.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Passion for public health and improving nutrition and food safety.
