Program Overview:
The One Health Internship is a 3-month program designed for students, recent graduates, and early-career professionals from diverse academic and professional backgrounds. Interns will play a key role in contributing to the development and management of an extensive repository of One Health research resources, including scientific articles, policy briefs, case studies, and educational materials. This repository will serve as a valuable tool for researchers, policymakers, and relevant multi-sectoral and One Health practitioners globally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and gather a wide variety of One Health research and resources across disciplines and sectors
- Analyze and categorize resources to create a structured and accessible database
- Assist in the development of research briefs, summaries, and annotated bibliographies
- Contribute to the creation of educational and communication materials based on the collated research
Eligibility Criteria:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in fields related to One Health, such as Human Medicine and other allied courses, Pharmacy, Public Health, Veterinary Medicine, Life Sciences, Health Communication, Environmental Science, Social Sciences, or any other related field of study/profession
- Demonstrate interest in One Health research, education, communication and multidisciplinary collaboration
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Familiarity with reference management tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a global remote team
