- Many poor health decisions are rooted in limited knowledge, and I believe education is the most powerful tool for lasting change.
I am a public health professional, antimicrobial resistance (AMR) advocate, and youth leader working at the intersection of human, animal, and environmental health through a One Health approach. My work focuses on understanding and addressing the interconnected drivers of health challenges such as AMR, environmental degradation, and disease prevention, particularly in underserved communities. I am actively involved in youth-led advocacy, research, and community engagement initiatives that promote awareness and strengthen preventive health practices. My primary goal is to advance global health systems by developing and implementing integrated, evidence-based One Health solutions that improve health outcomes and promote sustainability and equity across human, animal, and environmental systems.
Key Impact Metric
- Reached 200+ secondary school students through the Wash Off AMR campaign and 100+ students as an AMR Club Volunteer, promoting awareness of antimicrobial resistance, hygiene, and prevention practices.
- Engaged 300+ university students as a One Health Ambassador and trained 40 working group members on One Health and AMR to strengthen advocacy and implementation capacity.
- Reached 150+ underserved community members, including market women, during 2025 World Antimicrobial Awareness Week (WAAW) sensitization activities.
- Conducted biosecurity awareness sessions for 10+ farmers and expanded public education on safe agricultural practices through a radio jingle campaign as a Biosecurity Champion with BioShield Squad.

- Selected as an OHDI 2025 AMR Youth Champion in recognition of contributions to antimicrobial resistance advocacy and community health engagement.
- Led and supported AMR and One Health initiatives reaching 700+ individuals, including secondary school students, university students, underserved communities, farmers, and veterinary pharmaceutical stakeholders.
- Successfully coordinated the Wash Off AMR Campaign, reaching 200+ secondary school students, and contributed to WAAW sensitization activities reaching 150+ underserved community members.
- Served as Team Lead, AMR & One Health Working Group, Kwara State University, and trained 40 working group members to strengthen One Health and AMR advocacy, collaboration, and implementation capacity.
