The Circular Waste project seeks to establish and implement innovative One Health solutions and frameworks that enhance effective waste management, address the scourge of plastic pollution and foster a thriving circular economy in Nigeria and the rest of Africa.
Key strategies and project activities include an ongoing collaborative and multisectoral research activities to investigate and propose an evidence-based effective framework for intervention, and a subsequent pilot (and scale-up) of the intervention.
