  1. This is a very good initiative . While Nigera has achieved great successes in catfish and tilapia
    production, and vast in best available practices , these are not well documented. The farmers are knowledgeable about animal welfare and this project will come up with interesting findings.

  3. God bless. Congratulations to OHDI for the funding support for the animal welfare project in Nigeria. The Nigerian fish farmers are very experienced in catfish production, tilapia and venturing to other commercially viable fish species.They are knowledgeable in best available practices applicable to fish production , but may not necessarily understand these in the context of animal welfare. For this project, there will be many interesting findings in totality of best practices in the country. Fishery is very potent and I look forward to the project encompassing the fish world and experiences in the field
